Just ordered mine. The price break made this an easier decision. Since I'm the procrastinator and waited before making a decision, this worked out good. Thanks Brian.

At this moment, our new coilovers are also reduced as an introductory effort to get more sets out there, marked down from $1350 to $1075 as a group deal. That sale will run out till the end of next week. I'll put a new set of parts on sale for the following week, and repeat that for a few cycles.

I'm going back and forth trying to decide between getting the Y pipe or the Stillen headers. Some of the things going on with the headers has made me a little leary of that choice. Accordingly, to ease my mind, I would like to see a dyno on the 02-03 Y pipe so I can make an informed decision.

Thank you.

Someone asked in another thread if this price includes shipping. Just thought I'd post the question here too.

I bought one of these as noted above, and since it is a group deal/sale, I don't mind answering. The $299 cost does not include shipping or the gasket set.

Call the 1/800 number in Cattman's post. They will give you an exact amount before taking the order.

I've ran two dyno's on a complete Cattman system from Y to Muffler. Pre-SuperCharger was 159HP@98F at the wheel and post S/C + MEVI was 239HP@68F (however, the dyno run was screwed up because the O/D was left on so it's most likely closer to 250HP as I'm running HELLA rich on the Vortech FMU. I'll be dynoing again on Nov. 15th when I install the adjustable FMU and get her all tuned in at Ground Zero in Portland. I'll post the results when it's completed. I gotta tell ya....Cattman is top quality..you won't be disappointed I promise! I was 15.7 in the 1/4 prior to doing the exhaust and a VB mod..after exhaust & stillin intake 15.3. Can't wait to see what it is now

We actually have a package deal that includes everything, calling it the "Cattman Complete Exhaust System", including either a Y-pipe or header, cat, catback exhaust and all installation kits. $1075 with a y-pipe (1995-2003), $1500 with a header (1995-2001).

Those are everyday deals, not affected by this sale.

Oh, just noticed that you wanted to bolt it to a stock muffler. There's a pattern of that, but I'm not sure why. Our muffler isn't much louder than stock and definitely makes more power... Anyway, not sure which year of car you have so I can't make a quote. Our exhausts are the same price for the entire catback, but the prices for B-pipes and mufflers vary between the 95-99 and 00-03 designs (the cats vary slightly in price as well) -- the B-pipe you want is $275 for 00-03 and $325 for 95-99.

If you bought today (Monday) you could get the y-pipe for $299 and if you spent a $750 or more total you would get our quantity discount of 5% off the prices of all regularly price goods (doesn't apply to y-pipe as long as its on sale).

Sorry, but we don't do sound clips because they are absolutely worthless. The only thing a sound clip does is remind you of what a car's exhaust sounds like since it will bear little or no resemblance to the original sound. It can convince someone that they will like or dislike an exhaust system, yet they will have no idea what it really sounds like.

Neither the recording or playback device can properly deal with the frequency range involved, especially the low frequency elements that are the key part of the sound. Also, how would you know how loud it should be? There is no benchmark of calibration to work off of. If you play it back loud, you will think its loud, if you play it back soft, you will think its soft -- yet not have the slightest idea of what it is in reality.

I actually do have some A/V clips from mine.

Here's one of the night after we installed the MEVI in Seattle. You can partially here it pulling away under boost : http://www.johnsonirwinwolfe.com/joh...mevi%20run.wmv

Here's one from the car behind the same weekend as above doing a burnout: http://www.johnsonirwinwolfe.com/joh...os/burnout.wmv

Here's a clip primarily meant to caputre engine sound right after the S/C installation: http://www.johnsonirwinwolfe.com/joh...c/MVC-413V.MPG

Hope these help. Lemme know if you want an A/V with some specifics. I'd go along ways to help Brian sell these products. They are THAT good.

I will have new dyno to post after Nov. 15th and should have some vid's of the FMU installation and dyno testing.
