I purchased the Extended Warranty from Nissan when I bought my car. It was the top of the line warranty. I believe it stated that I get a rental, whenever my car is in the shop. I never got the documentation on it, cause they were out of brochures. But I do have it, and it's either the GOLD or PLATINUM, whichever costs more.

Well, my car needs bearings replaced (under warranty) and Nissan needs to keep it over the weekend until Wednesday (not driveable). However, they said they can't get a car for me over the weekend, it would have to be on Monday. Of course, I need a car TODAY... the guy that called me was new, and I didn't think he understood that my Extended Warranty covers it.

Does anyone have the actually wording from the warranty that states "I will get a rental, when my car is in the shop"??? Please post the paragraph here.

Also, if there is such a paragraph, what should I do to get a car today?...

"If you require alternate transportation due to the mechanical breakdown of a covered part, this agreement will provide reimbursement for the actual expenses of substitute transportation up to $35/day, to a max. of 5 days, and $175 per breakdown. Rental must be made from an authorized rental agency or your repairing Nissan dealer. Sub. transportation is based on the Nissan Flat Rate Time required to repair the vehicle according to the table: Repair time =
.1-8hrs --- Days allowed = 2 --- Max. Reimb. = upto $70

8.1-16hrs --- Days allowed = 3 --- Max. Reimb = upto $105

16.1-24hrs --- Days allowed = 4 --- Max. Reimb = upto $140

24.1-32hrs --- Days allowed = 5 --- Max. Reimb = upto $175"

These are terms stated in the Security+Plus Vehicle Protection Plan by Nissan. I think this is the top of the line agreement. Good luck!

Thanks again... they gave me a Sentra. What I don't understand is that the Sentra's stereo is LOUDER than my Premium Bose... I noticed that they also have a woofer in the back!
