Pics of painted plug cover
I just repainted my valve cover since i didn't do such a good job last time, here's teh before pics.
notice the drop of paint and the faded part on the right side. I was lazy so i didn't bother to sand it again and repaint it again so I left it like that.
So today I decided to repaint it and make it extra bling. Sanded everything down, primed, sanded some more, recoated with paint and then finally a couple of clear coats, here's the results.
the piece of chipped paint on the left is due to when I was removing the masking tape on the black area, some of the paint was attached and ripped off prematurely
Looks a lot more professional to me
I used duplicover MetalCast metallic red from Walmart. I like the dark redness and I used duplicolor clear coat lacquer from pepboys. I ran a heatgun over the cover everytime I sprayed a thin coat to help with drying.
