Dual 5th Gen. mufflers?
Dual 5th Gen. mufflers?
Would this work? I want something quiet, adds power, and still has the dual exhaust look. My main concerns are the fitment of the driver's side muffler. I know the 5th gen, muffler has an offset inlet too. Also, how did those of you with the 5th gen. muffler fit the dual tips out the back?
Im just think off the top of my head for a new original idea for the maxima.
Thanks.

sounds like a good idea, you'll have to trim some off the bumper to clear the dual tips of the 5th gen muffler and visually look good. and then trace the same cutout to the other side of the bumper for your dual muffler. I don't know if this would add any power.....
Eric
when i had dual tip, mine was under the bumper, u couldnt really see the tips. What i hear a lot of people doing is either extending the b-pipe with longer piping or a longer tip. If no modification done, it will sit inside bumper and you wont see it unless u duck down.
It is real quiet though, i also doubt you'll be able to do this unless u cut outt he wheel well....or something
