Because wheelmax has a bad reputation in having those wheels on stock. Their prices might be low, but they either won't sell wheels only or dont have them at all.

I hav eno experience with Wheelmax, but the brand of wheels is a generic knockoff, like countless others...

Can we get a pic of the interior..I want to see how you have the shifter for the transfer case mounted.

Regarding the wheels. EXEL is a knock off but I heard thru the grape vine.....that one of the guys that does all the coatings for the wheels and what not is actually from SSR. So at least you know the finish will be nice.

What you guys also need to know is that Wheelmax packages low-end tires with their specials - Nankang's and such. They're almost as bad as the RE92's.

Be sure to ask for their upgraded tire prices. It'll be worth it in the longrun.

Good point soundmike...then again almost all advertised packages are cheap tires like Kumho's or something...

You have, IIRC, two options for the one's that come packaged in their advertised price. One is Nankang and the other is a low-end Kumho.

If you want to upgrade, the cost will depend on what type of tires.

No they come with a tire called Ventus, its a no name brand. I belive yo can pay extra for another type of tire. But the Ventus Tires are awsome, just as good as the leading name brands. I live in Boca Raton only 50 miles from were one of there two warehouses are, that is why i recieved them the next day. Like I said who cares about Name brand when it comes to rims & tires. You can get a mock up for 1/4th the price then take it! Also, don't listen to these other guys they're just jelous they spent over $2500 for they're 19inch wheels and you're going to spend on $999.00 with tires. Sorry guys, just informing ammi.

there is no good reason to put 19 or 20 inch rims on a maxima, except if you're in "show" or "big ballin". but if you're into that, then "name brand" IS important, no cheap knock-offs!!! otherwise you just a poser.

another thing - the knock-off rims (heavy) maybe okay, its all up to you, and what you into, but ****tyy ires are a no-no in my book. thats the only thing separating you and the road. go cheap on that, and you might have to pay much more if sh*t happens.

Hey guys, I've seen these rims in person, and they are excellent quality rims. The paint and clear coat is amazing looking, even compared to my MM Evo 5's, and is very durable. He had a curb accident, and went over a curb (obviously). He had to get his entire torsion beam replaced, but his rims remained flawless (no scratches whatsoever), and you can even see his tires all scuffed up where he hit the curb, all the way up the sidewall. Even the underbody of his car has some bad scrapes, but still, very good rims IMO.

And stop bashing about the lift kit joke, we all started somewhere.

Dan

The reason why you got the rims so quick is that you live in Florida...wheelmax has a location in Miami, which most of the shipments ship out of.... i am ordering from wheelmax too in the future, but i live in Miami, so I'll pick them up....

That's why you start with suspension, especially on a Max... Still, nothing beats my car before drop... Except maybe Phils (tie on the front, but my rear was far higher)

Also, how durable are these rims? Will they last through the winter? I am thinking about purchasing some. Is it worth it? Are the tires good for winter?

Uhhh, are you guys catching all this?

Tight_Whip, you need to keep a tight_lip cause you're looking more unintelligent by the minute. People have opinions other than yours and your exaggerated stories about your F150 on 18's aren't swaying anyone with more brain cells than toenails.

You talk like you work for wheelmax.com ... are they giving you some free springs for promoting their site or something?

Dude, just STFU now..... It really irritates me when you post like this. First you bashed soundmike for the wonderful deals he offers to use .orgers. Then came this ****ing thread about wheelmax.com. Seriously, who would even buy from wheelmax, other than some cheap people who wants to save a few bucks on wheels, but ended up paying a hundred dollars more because their wheels are scratched up? You said you bent your axel beam from hitting a curb, and none of the rims were bent, and there were no scratchs!?!?!?!?!?

Seriously, are you thinking we are 14 year-old kids who don't know anything about Physics? What, your rims are made of titanium, gold, platinum and aluminum alloy?
