I'm honestly having a really tough time deciding what I want to do with my Max. I've got about 500$ burning a hole in my pocket and a lot of different ideas. Right now I think the number one on my list is an underdrive pulley. Its basically the last NA mod I can do besides an upgraded ECU, which is number two on priority list. I think I want to hold off on the ECU until I decide whether or not I'll be getting a nitrous kit or not, cause as we know, nitrous + advanced timing = unhappy engine.

Now, I don't wanna neglect cosmetics either, and with the type-X wing coming out soon, it is also very tempting... as is a carbon fiber hood. Only thing is, I'm gunna get my front bumper repainted in the spring, so it might be a good idea to get the wing and hood painted at the same time to save some money. Some fog lights with HIDs look really sweet as we know too, I'm really stumped... Lightweight racing seats couldn't hurt, nor would a lightweight battery (relocated into the trunk). My Intrax springs are also a bit uneven, so cutting half a coil in the front would give me a much more appealing drop...

Sorry, that got a bit longer than I had expected... Anyone have an opinion on the matter, or even a suggestion that I left out? My current mods are listed in the sig.

 

i would get vb mod torque converter and tranny cooler next...if u have all the exhausting i have and cai...then u might wanna get yourself that ecu i guess.. dunno what u guys think...

 

I'm in a similar bind. Deciding on the next mod is always tough b/c there are so many to choose from.

Dude, ECU right now while its cheap from technosquare is the way to go!!!

 

If your an auto, may I suggest a 5-spd swap. A VB upgrade is not worth the money. It only makes the 1-2 shift faster, 2-3 is somewhat stock-like. Also, cutting your Intrax springs is super-ghetto and its dangerous for driving, just sell them and get some TEIN S.Tech springs.

My recommendation......an Optima battery to be relocated to the trunk....

Reason, with the underdrive kit, you will lose some voltage, thus causing problems if you run stereo, sub, other DC items.......

Why get a Optima? They pump out 16v of pure electrical love......
