Not sure what is up but sometimes when I brake, accelerate, or make sharp turns. A wierd noise comes from the front of the car. Sounds like something is loose a kind of creaking slight poping noise. Im thinking it could be the cv joints, or the engine mounts. How can you find out for sure what is causing this problem. I assume you'd have to drive it to find out, I hope my description was good enough. If not thanks anyways for any replies.

you can simply check the engine mounts by doing this put the car in drive ( if manual put in first and pull ebrake)and step on the brake blip the throttle and see if the engine takes a big jump. if not then put it in reverse and do the same if it jumps a good amount either way then the motor mounts are shot.

 

Also check your control arm bushings and Ball joints
