Merchant's Tire & Auto
I believe this tire/auto care chain is fairly local to the VA/MD area, based out of Manassas, VA. I have experience with the one in Westminster, MD.
Bought 4 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 235/45ZR17 tires for my 2K SE (stock 17" alloy wheels). They checked the alignment as well.
Alignment required a small adjustment.
They were closing just when they were done with my car. Drove it off, noticed right away the wheels were somewhat out of balance. Came back the next evening, they rebalanced the wheels and rechecked the alignment free of charge (I had noticed a slight pulling to the right when I was on the throttle). Car drove great after that, although there was still a slight pull to the right under acceleration, but I'm almost sure that's just normal (probably torque steer as a result of buying a different tire size than OEM... OEM is 225/50ZR17).
Fast forward a week or 2--Took off the wheels to install SS brake hoses and flush the system. Gave up after I rounded the left rear flare nut. Decided instead to just bleed all the calipers to get the old fluid out. Upon removing the left front wheel, I discovered that 1 of the lugnuts was cross-threaded, thus completely destroying the lugnut and stud when I removed it. Called up, got the service manager on the phone, he asked me to bring it in around 1PM so they have enough time to order the parts for a new stud & lugnut. Got there around 12:30, they were done around 1:50. This was all done free of charge.
