My New Wheels

I traded my Planet Audio 1250d sub amp for these wheels yesterday. I dont even remember what kind they are, but they are 17 x 7.5 with 40 series rubber that is getting replaced with 50 series asap.

nice rims... not to add to the list of "to do's" but adding some paint to the calipers (more affordable than dropping) could also give it a nice look. just my $0.02.

that's a pretty good deal for you. That amp is like $300 brand new.

The wheels look nice, a lot better than my stockers. When you drop your car a couple of inches, it will look even better.

Yeah I should have mentioned, its going to snow here any day now so I am taking these wheels off in 2 weeks or less. Then over the winter I am going to polish them up real nice and get some 50 series (maybe 55 series) tires. Then as soon as the snow has melted, I will be lowering the car 2 inches or else doing an air suspension. I'd also like to put some huge disks up front, but we'll see how money is at the time.

91 maxi,

what is width of the actual rim?

mine are 6.5 in front and i would not go any wider than 215 for safety's sake. you "could" go wider with risk.

Yes and thanks for helping me remember, I forgot what the guy called them but that is exactly what they are.

They are 17 x 7.5 with 205/40/17 rubber.
