I've had mine for 2 months now....

these eyelids are ready to be made... I got in an accident yesterday, so the pic is a pic of my car in an accident, but the eyelid was ok. They are made of cloth, which is superior to fiberglass due to it being more flexible. They are made professionally by a fiberglass company. Each set is

NOTE that these are not mass produced and are made to order. The mold is done. Once i recieve payment, they will make it and send it out. Also, I did not make these myself. I found a company to make them for us.

They are attached with double sided tape. They come unpainted, ready to be painted.
First 5 people I can have them sent out in group deals of 5.

The 2k2-2k3 can be made if someone is willing to send me their headlights( note that the headlight will not be useable after molding)

i would but i got in an accident.. and i'd rather not show the pic in the accident.... but if you can imagine, the eyleids follow the lines of the car perfectly... it goes right into the grill...

 

off topic, but beautiful color on the car! Looks great inside the housings too! Are my eye's just playing tricks on me, or is that fender a bit wider than the norm???

those are really nice eyelids.. im in for one. IF we get more people would the price go down more? WE gotta get this painted too.... that cost $$$. again im just wondering. =)

 

i'm pretty much the mail carrier... i talked to the company and pretty much it wont be much lower. If you wanted fiberglass it may be cheaper, but if you look at our headlights, there is an area where the headlight wraps to the side fender and that area has no place to have the eyelid screwed down. That side area needs the eyelid to be flexible... The price is standard for small production orders. The company doesnt make money through quantity, only making 5 they probably make 20 bucks each... so thats 100 dollars... but i will ask, but they've been pretty straight on the price...

 

the eyelids look sharp! Anyone able to get some 2k2 headlights to you for a mold?

 

i highly doubt you'll find someone to just send you 02-03 headlights...especially since you state "headlight will not be useable after molding"...these headlights retail for over $600+ each

 

i'm just saying if anyone wanted too... i have the 2k headlight, so it doesnt affect me at all whether they get made or not...

 

note... the 2k2 headlights, they can be broken headlights too.. i actually have 1 broken left side 2k2 headlight, whihc means all i need is the other side... it is possible...

 

I'm sure someone wouldn't mind donating the other side - BTW what do you mean when you say left? driver or passenger?

Would you mind making a mold with what you have?

your stock bumper cracked?? what kinda bodykit do you have?? 5th gen fiberglass that isnt the ninja kit?? (im assuming because of the side markers being there)....interestingg....what other possibilities are there for bodykits for a 2k?? custommaxima doesnt have it up yet on its site..
