The GXE suspension feels so much better .... (more)
I have a 98 4th gen SE. When I was in school, my friend had a 96 SE, another friend had a 97 SE, and another friend had a 98 SE. So I never got to ride anything other than the SE. Now I'm riding a 2k GXE and it feels so much better. I love it. I didn't realize how harsh the SE 's are until I rode in the GXE. If I knew this when I got my car, I think I would have gotten the GXE. Wait, I take that back. The 4th Gen SE wheels are the best looking factory wheels of all cars. I love those wheels. I would even buy them if they sell it at the tireRack, so I still would have gotten the SE.
If anybody's thinking about buying a Maxima, be sure to test drive the GXE. You might like it.

the grass is always
greener on the other side. I wonder how the GLE rides in comparison to the GXE and SE. I know the SE is stiffer than the GLE, but I think the ride in the stock GLE is a bit "floaty," and i can feel the body leans when I corner hard.
guess it is human nature--what someone else has is more enticing. =)

My SE was too soft for me once I got the SC installed. Going faster leads to the need for more control which is provided by a stiffer suspension. Oh yea, and braking becomes important also...
