clutch is slipping at 6k miles

I had a OEM clutch put in my car about 6k miles ago and now it is slipping pretty bad. One thing I don't understand is that when i do a quick 1-2 shift at redline, the clutch will slip and revs fall to about 4300 or so rpm and then it will grab and the wheels chirp. When I bought the car used, I drove about 25k before I had to replace the clutch due to flooding. I am completely stumped on what to do or what would cause the clutch to go bad so quickly. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for reading.

Sounds like you either...
A. Did not break the clutch in properly
B. Dealer(or whoever) sold you a Key Value clutch as an OEM
C. fluid is seeping in between your clutch disc and flywheel
D. Your flywheel needs to be turned badly and was not done when you got the clutch replaced.

I broke in the clutch for 550 miles and I personally saw that it was an OEM nissan clutch. so if the fluid is seeping, would that be mechanic's failure???

If fluid is seeping it would not be mechanics failure it would more likely be the slave cylinder failure.

If it had oil seeping in there it would slip a bit more. he says it catches chirps and goes. You got a key value clutch. Should have gone with a good clutch like centerforce.

The real Nissan OEM clutch does NOT come in a kit, but in pieces as the pressure plate, disc, etc. So if you bought a clutch KIT, it is a Key Value.

That is true most of the time, but i've experienced this where it would slip really bad sometimes, then not slip at all, then slip with a delay like he's talking about.
It had nothing to do with the way i was driving it was just the way the disc met the flywheel at that particular moment while shifting. This was on my SE-R, not my MAX. Still confuses me.

If it is catching high you can adjust it back down. Adjustment is under dash.

here is the thing with the dealer issue, I take my car to a shop which is owned by a good friend of mine's father. He is the only one to work on the car. I have taken my car to him for a year and nothing bad except for this clutch issue. WHen i was at the shop, a saw a nissan box with a clutch in it. my old clutch was on top and i was comparing the two.
