My buddy with an '01 Acura CL Type S just ordered his ContiExtremeContact's over the weekend, so once he gets them installed I'll check them out and see if i like them or not. Only difference is that his are 215/50/17 vs. our 225/50/17. Shouldn't really notice that, but I'll let you know what I think.

The UPS guy delivered my buddy's tires on Monday, so they should be mounted in the next day or so. Can't wait to try them out on someone else's dime.

Drove my buddy's car Friday. I was lucky it started raining during my test-drive. These tires are great on wet surfaces. Couldn't believe the difference between these and my Pretendza's. Car felt very stable on the freeway around 90 in the rain. I'm scared to take my car over 60 on the same stretch of road when its raining. Only concern I have with these tires is that they are a bit noisy but thats only due to the aggressive tread pattern I'm assuming. That and the fact that Tire Kingdom had to install about 40lbs of weights to the front driver's side wheel to get it to balance properly. That kinda makes me leary as well.
