axxis metal master or ultimate pads??

axxis metal master or ultimate pads??

just wondering for rotors, i noticed that axxis has the metal master(semi metallic, and ultimate(ceramic) brake pads.. what are the differences, which is better for our cars, and whats the benefits? thanks guys...

I hear the stock rotors were designed to be used with ceramic pads. But anyway, if you want a bit more selection:

i am using the Ultimate pads on the new rotors...

they grip very tight...and i dont notice dust cause my rims are graphite already

I "had" the axxis metal masters...damn thing squealed like hell under 2-3mph and drove me nuts. Went back to OEM and no noise. btw-im using the brembo/stillen C/D rotors.

I've been using Axxis Ultimates for a few weeks now. No squeeling yet.

This is with Z32 calipers/rotors

I have the same setup. HPS in front and Metal Masters in the back. Back wheels are this nasty brown color. =P

I had the same squealing problem with MM.
Kind of hard to explain - front brake shims on MM have a notch cut in it.
After I put stock shims on the noise went away.

my metal masters didnt squeal but they made an annoying groan i couldnt stand. im back to stocks up front and its better but the rears still groan
