96 Maxima - 125,000k. Just notices a puddle of what appears to be oil under the right rear shock. Some (oil?) stains sprayed under the wheel well also. Going to assume the shock is shot. I have never attempted to replace shocks before, know nothing about them (other than it's leaking oil) and wondering about the level of difficulty of such a job. Found a site that sells KYB's for $72 each. (Absorber GR-2 L4000-58511). Are other parts needed?

Thanks for trying to help. Then instructions are for the 1994 Maxima, not the 1996. Imagine there may be some significant differences. Anyway have decided to not tackle this myself.
