Shock & Ypipe Dilemma

Ok, I got Maxspeed springs on blown stock shocks. I need shocks, however, it's either i spend like 500 bux to get adjustable shocks, and dustboots, or should i settle with GR-2's and get a budget y-pipe too? I know it's the smart way to go if i get adjustable shocks but it'd be really nice if i had a y-pipe too. So my question is, what would you do?

Option#1- Gr-2's, y-pipe, and dustboots

Option#2- AGX/Illuminas/Koni Yellow, and dustboots. (Please specify which set of shocks, or should i mix and match them?)

Thanks for your help~!

How long are you going to keep the car ?
If you're going to keep the car for a while, get AGXs.
Cheap can be expensive in the long run not to mention the labor involve if you have GR2s then changed your mind later on.

Since your struts are blown, get Illuminas or AGXs (if you want to save some money). The y-pipe can wait a little

well i have 150k on my car and i'm planning to keep it as long as it lasts...so i dunno how long that's going to be...wat do u guys think? and i think i've decided to go with illuminas so if anyone can refer me to a site somewhere for the cheapest prices and the best experiences, that's be great. A person on the org (NotNew!!NewSN!!) said he'll give them to me for 465 shipped, is that a good price? And i like wat u said Jatan, the y-pipe can wait. Thanks for the advice guys.

AGXs have become more and more troublesome for a lot of members. noise issues, quality problems, etc. i would probably suggest illuminas right now since you have a blow strut correct? also, to prevent more work later, put aftermarket springs on your struts now, instead of changing them AGAIN later. do the AGX dust boots work for illuminas?

Get illuminas or Koni Yellow fronts/illumina rears. However, if you want something that's going to ride the best, with the least amount of installation trouble, get the illuminas. Like everyone said, you'll thank yourself later. That's what i'm going for. Unfortunately, you don't see any dealers of illuminas on Ebay, and not too many places sell illuminas otherwise. I remember browsing around a while back and seeing a GD on illuminas, but they were 460 +shipping or something like that, which isn't that great of a price...i've seen them for lower....and there's no guarantee on how fast they'd arrive. But yeah, it's like your mother always told you;
"Do it right, do it once." "Do it half assed, and the defecit will be compounded at the bank later on."
