at last Bixenon proyector HID kit for maximas

<B>man!! at last i will sell BIXENON HID KIT on internet. First thanks guys for contact me, this time i have already sold more than 350 kits on internet and ebay. Well a little explain of this kit.

The best thing is that you will have high and low beam!!! on the same proyector

Well this kit is the best i have ever seen before, i just add the proyectors to my "before HID kit" its easy to install the kit...you just have to make a little hole on your headlamps to make the proyector go inside. I have seen a lot of this mod on civics "i made at this time 4, one for sir, altima, bmw and neon", my costumers was happy like won a million jejeje, so i just want to give you the option like maxima´s owners(like me).

Well the kit includes:

1. 2 Bixenon proyectors with holders and D2S bulbs
2. 2 HELLA BMW ballast made in Germany
3. 2 wires kit to intall the kit on your stock light wires without mod.
4. Video how to install the kit on your car
5. Manual

you can see all this stuff on my cardomain page 4!!!! thanks a lot the kit

Can some one pls let me know how to post a pic here??? i have my pics on cardomain page.

The price.....if i have 10 order i can give your the kit for $450 shipped.

Got any pictures of them actually installed in the housings? I don't know if something like this is a bit out of my league in terms of DIY mods.

Do they make non-bixenon projector HIDs? Since we have a separate high-beam on 02-03 headlights anyways, have the bi-xenon seems kinda pointless...

I hope that Im wrong, but I'll be honest, I've been skeptical from the first post about these projectors. If this job were as easy as its been implied, it would be on a maxima by now JMHO. I don't think this is going to happen......not unless you go geo1317's route

I agree....to put in one projector is one thing but to put in two is another... our headlights are very hard to work with...i have already messed up one headlight trying to put in the dual projectors in, now my car is in a tranny shop for the 4th time, so once again, my project is on hold......

image: This thread is about bixenon projectors. Not about a HID conversion kit from CM.

Do some research on the differences. PS CustomMaxima.com is not selling HID conversion kits for $60-70 USD.

click on this link and you see what the price of CM's conversion kits cost

Do me a favor and link that page where custommaxima sells HID kits for 60-70 dollars, cause if you can, I'll buy a dozen sets.. HID does not equal blue coated halogen bulbs... You need to do some reading.

and these are not only HIDS but projectors as well. HIDS alone are selling for 300-400. This is coming with a projector as well. the price is good, the proof is whats difficult. proof that this will look good...on a maxima or even work.

Where can i find some reading on this? Obviously I dont understand... It's just lights.. w000hooo! I'd rather tape flashlights to my bumbper than spend 400. Or maybe if i understood why they were so beneficial I would reconsider... Common guys plz point me in the right direction.

HID's in a projector housing provide a huge wide band of daylight temperature output on the road, and are shielded with a "cutoff" that keeps the light on the road, generally it's set ~3ft high at a 25ft distance. There aren't "hotspots" associated with halogen bulbs and reflector housings, just a smooth, even, bright light.

HID is not for everybody, just those who want the best in lighting quality during the night.

This is an excellent example of the beam patterns and cutoffs that Projector HID provides:

More Information:

Good General Overview:

Why Projectors are great:

About HID in general:
http://faq.auto.light.tripod.com/hl-hid-bulbs.htm

About Halogen in general:
http://faq.auto.light.tripod.com/hl-filament-bulbs.htm

If someone put two cars, identical, one having HID, and one with halogen, and you can't tell the difference, HID is NOT for you.

What? Progress? ....I would really love to be wrong about these projectors, so please by all means keep it up Indigo.

Comments:

I personally like the chrome black constrast. Looks different.
Never really cared for all black headlights, but I know a LOT of people who do.
All chrome is another option I would enjoy....if possible, catering to all three options should widen your customer base.

My 2 cents

I'll be interested on a set of headlamp housing with the bixenon projector conversion done in all chrome. If you can do it for $450 shipped to Lahaina, Hawaii 96761.

Let me know, i'll take the first set you can make.
