How many of you have broken your motor mounts?

I just broke two of them and drive an automatic! Are the SE mounts any stronger than the GLE mounts? BTW, after putting in new mounts my car shifts much smoother. I feel the mounts slowly degraded to the point of metal against metal. So if any of you think your tranny is shifting hard you may want to check the mounts.

Did you replace with aftermarket? If so, do they transfer more vibration?

the rear mount on most cars is the most common one to go out. my rear motor mount was ripped apart. u can tell by looking at the rubber that makes up the mount and seeing if parts of it look ripped. i noticed mine was bad when we installed my headers. new one is ~90 bucks and 4th gen mounts r the same as 5th gens.

Hmmmn....

I need to look into whether the 2K2+ mounts are similar enough to the '95-'01 to work.

For those of you with GLE's (like me), I think we have different engine mounts than the SE's do. Just FYI in case you're thinking of replacing with older parts.
