i got them brand new from a local org member for $300. The cattman modified ones means that the bottom bracket bolts up to the original stock locations (the two horizontal looking bolts). BUT you will still have to grind the strut mounts a little so that they will fit or use 4th gen ones.

I forgot about that and ended up stripping the thread on one of the front agx's by trying to force the bolt down on the strut without grinding the strut mount.

Agx's offer 8 settings in the rear and 4 in the front, pretty easy to adjust also

springs $130 + kyb agx $300 + labor $65 = $495 suspension price

this was done at my local performance shop that my friend runs.

southwestautoworks had the lowest prices for sprints, last time I checked.

i will post full body pics at the end of the day

That looks sweet. I like that the front is lower, or as low as the back.

with sprints, to have an even drop you gotta cut-off 1.5 coils on the rear springs and then you'll have a nice even drop. larrio, what is the ride quality like? i'm looking for new springs b/c i want to go lower than eibachs, but not as low as teins...how do you like the sprints?

everyone says sprints/eibachs/teins have a harsh ride.. blah blah blah. I expected the worse going in, but was rather relieved to find the ride is kind of nice IMO.

honestly, its not a harsh ride... rather everything just feels firmer. Kind of hard to describe, but I like it alot, especially when cornering. At highway speeds I don't feel like i'm feeling every bump in the road, but the firmness is definetly noticeable.

also with the adjustability of the agx's... I can tune it somewhat.

sorry I missed out on stillen man. I had problems with the stock suspension, apparently the original owner managed to put on a left front and rear strut with stripped bolts So I was kind of iffy on driving a lost distance to stillen.

Larrio, can you run it through some pot holes for us east coasters? Sprint has not been a popular spring in the 5th gen forum. I have always heard it has a harsh ride, but SWA seems to be selling a lot of them.

When I had sprints installed, the wife did nothing but b!tch and moan about the rough ride. The Kids in the back seat laughed because every bump sent them flying. I will admit that they were on the stock struts. Maybe they reend AGXs to tame them. I miss the awesome look of the drop.

Los angeles should have even worse streets than the east coast. I've gone through some pot holes and they don't seem to harsh to me. But when I had the front settings on 4 (stiff) instead of 1 (soft), it was rather a nasty experience.

I feel with the sprints that the car goes over speed bumps better than the stock suspension, where the back end would also kind of slam down if I went over the bumps a little too fast.

i'm thinking about making a video since this seems to be a big concern.

IMO, the springs ride great on harsh roads and I should know considering I drive into L.A. potholed streets alot.

Nice drop.. pretty much exactly like a Tein drop from what I can see. If the ride is close to a Tein ride, I can attest that it is not bad at all. And since Larrio is from LA, where roads are probably worse than here in San Francisco, and he still says that the ride isn't bad, then I believe it simply because there are some nasty roads here and it's not bad at all (I drive around most potholes and such).

Those look great You'll probably lose some ride comfort if you ever decide to upgrade to 18's. The stock 17's and 50 series tires probably help out a lot for comfort.

Ride looks awsome bro. Good to see someone else with sprint sprints. I just got my sprint springs and tokico blues installed 2 weeks ago and I am absolutly amazed. I would have rather gotten the tokico illuminas, but they were not out when i purchased the whole setup. Anyway, My max handles PERFECTLY now. I've since taken my car to the mountain roads near here and drove the dogpoop out of it and it handles unbelievably well. No lean, no sway, as if it was on rails. And the drop is awesome. Makes the max look sooo much better. The only time that my ride is harsh is if I hit a big pothole that I'm not expecting. I think that that wouldn't be near as bad if I had adjustable shocks/struts. But the car feels much more connected to the road. I would definatly recommend these springs to anyone.

btw, Larrio, do you have a rear sway bar? if so, have you taken it off at any point after the spring install? I have read some stuff saying that after you drop a car, it handles better without the rswb. I have one on and haven't had the time to take it off to see if it handles better...

yeah, I bought my rswb knowing that I was going to eventually drop my car. Didn't find out about it until after I had already paid for it and installed it. I might have some time next week to take mine off... if so, I'll post results.

I've never heard of a maxima handling better without a sway bar.

i took OFF my rsb when I installed my springs cause I pulled it off my lease car about three weeks prior. I definetly NEED TO put the rsb back on cause this car has mad oversteer when i'm cornering.. haha

it couldn't possibly be better without the rsb, not for me at least. I feel unsafe without it on the car. Only concern i'd have is if the stillen rsb will scrap if i'm backing out of a steep driveway. I"ll have to see.
