Just Installed: Bohmen HID H3 Fog Kit
Just Installed: Bohmen HID H3 Fog Kit
Just installed the Bohmen 6500k kit for my fog lights. I decided to take a couple pics to show people where they can mount the starter and ballast for best results and away from moisture.
When drilling into the metal, I advice that you purchase some self-drilling screws. These are a big help.
Here are the pics:

Nice! Give them some time to burn in, for some reason my fogs still appear to be somewhat a diff color then the headlights. I still have not figured out why
both mine are 6500K Catz but the fogs are only 21w.
Check it out the fog still appears to be a slightly lighter color then the headlight itself. Once my audio setup it done with, my main focus is on 19's then im going back to my HIDs...projecots baby, top & bottom
Im sure you'll do the same in due time Igor
Ill worry about later. Im satisfied with my setup for the time being.
Looks sick man, just get some more pics in a month or two after they burn in and the true color comes forth.

I'm not too handy but got the Bohmen H4 kit. Can anyone describe of have pics on how to connect it to the car? What part of the HID kit plugs into the H4 harness that is on the car? Should everything be plug and play?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

If you leave the switch on OFF, and then turn the car on. If its dark out, you have to pass the auto feature which mean even if you dont see it, its going to send the arc to the HIDs, then it goes to running lights, then to the ON position. You basically turned the HIDs on twice in a split sec if you do it this way.
I know its somewhat anoying the way I do it, but its become a habit and I dont even realize I do it anymore.

I dont want to fry any of my ballasts or bulbs or anything. These thing aint cheap.

How much additional heat will these bulbs put out than standard? I know there is a bunch of speculation regarding the PIAA's causing the glass lenses to crack. I've never tested to see if the HID's are hotter or not....

You can try asking the guy who started this thread, click Here he did an H4 swap on his 01. He might be able to help. The only retro I did was on my fogs, it was simple as hell and a true plug and play. Only needed to connect the 12v & ground it and thats that. As for my headlights, well I got the 2k2 HID with 6500K (or 6000K, same thing) bulbs.
