O.T...

Since I got you here, ngthing, I got a couple of questions for you about the face guage overlays. I have tried to e-mail you a couple weeks ago, but it wouldn't go through. Anyways, I bought your overlays, and when installing, while pulling up the needles from the pin shafts, the shafts came up with the needles. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but after I got it all back together, they never worked correctly again. Did you run into this problem? I was wondering if you knew of a fix for this. Right now there is too much friction on the needles to turn freely. Everything is calibrated correctly, but very slow in reading speed, revs, or temp. Please help....

I am curious because, with my remote start, I can leave the car running without the keys, but I can't depress the brake pedal or it will shut down the car, and I don't know how to get the key out without usuing the brake

I know there is a relay behind the release button for the key. I wasn't sure what caused it to release. I know it closes after you put the car into drive. The po had the trim ring off the ignition switch, and he always used that little override button. I found that extremely annoying, so I took off the covers around the steering column and was able to take off the relay. It just has a little pin that sticks out in front of the release button. I didn't disconnect the wiring, I just unbolted it from the key switch.

The first thing to try is to take off the trim ring, and press that little red button. If you can then take the key out and leave the car running, my work around will fix it.
