Antenna/wiring probs for aftermkt head unit

I'm posting this in the Audio forum too, but here goes...
I'm trying to install an aftermarket head unit in my GXE. There's a wire on the wiring harness (Blue w/o stripe) that's supposed to be for the power antenna - but I have nowhere to connect it. The wires coming out of the back of my JVC HU don't have a Blue wire, just the Blue/white for the remote turn-on.

Do I need to connect this blue wire to something for the antenna to work? Can I just splice it inline with the remote turn-on?

Also, there's no second wire for the antenna. I bought the dual diversity adapter, and I've got the big connector hooked up alright, but there's nothing to go into the second hole on the adapter. Is that supposed to be empty?

Thanks in advance... Full stereo installs in 40* weather are great!

nope it'll work just fine! is just acts the same way as a remote wire for systems. I would suggest a crimp cap to cover it!
