i like how the black painted altezzas look a lot better than "gunmetal" or "carbon fiber" altezzas. his headlight masks, and blue interior (I know he got rid of them) on the other hand...not good.

interesting how he painted the inside, doesnt look too bad, though maybe the outside woulda better better (yet way harder). Looks 1000000X better than regular chrome altezzas though...

any skyline mod on white Max. Also where you would most likely get the paint from? Paintscratch.com?
Kinda expensive, at least 50 bucks for tricoat and clearcoat..

Really? You paid for those? I just took mine apart and painted them. Cheap, easy, and no wait on delivery.

Check out SlamdMax98's page. He has it done to his. It looks much better in person. As for the write-up on how to do it, VQPower has a pretty good one. Can't really help you out much on the pricing though.

Ouch, white is one of those iffy colors for the skyline tail mod...

I painted over the outside of the tails and then clearcoated the whole thing. I tried to take them apart and remove the silver paint but it took way too long and I wasn't able to get the paint out of the tight grooves on the corners. It looks alot better than the silver trim IMO. On the 97-99 gen 1's it looks as if the silver trim goes al the way around the tails, as compared to the 95-96 which only go half way around.
Nice ride JetBlackMax....and btw, I'm after your 'Chrome King' title. Bling!

not everyone loves red/clears... everyone has different taste so why give him that face if he likes them? he was only trying to help the guy who started the thread...play nice.
