4th Gen Carbon Fiber door pillars Ionic Xmas special!!

Hi guys!

We have finished the molds for these pieces, we will start production this Monday and I will have some pics by then.

These will be top quality real 100% carbon fiber using UV and weather resistant resins. With a supper high gloss finish these will not fade out or turn yellow after time.

This will be a 6 piece kit, they can be attached using double sided tape or glued on to the car (recommended). Easy to install, it should only take you about 20 min to install by your self.

The GD price for the 6 piece set will be $65 shipped, if we get more than 15 buyers the price will go down to $60 shipped.

Payment methods accepted are credit cards, paypal and Money orders. If you want to pay with your credit card or with a money order then please email at info@ionicdynamics.com and I will reply with my contact info.

Click here to pay with paypal

All orders will start to ship out immediately, if we reach 20 orders then I will send a refund for the $5 difference to everyone that has already ordered. All orders received before Dec 19th will have guaranteed delivery before Xmas

The two inner ones go on the small strip on the back door windows.

The gas cover is for the other group deal. I'll send my money in the AM

They will start to ship out by mid week, I am going to test fit each set on my car just to make sure that the molds are perfect.

I recieved mine today, I have a couple of issues. First, For some reason I was under the assumption these would come with some sort of 3m adhesive tape on the back of them. Kinda like trim kits have. Since these have nothing to adhere them with, what do you suggest we use to apply them? I dont really want to use any type of Super Glue.
Also, in the pics you showed, the edges all looked smooth and clean looking. Mine are kinda cloudy dull looking. Would buffing them up with some sort of polish buff these out? Theirs also scratches on the bigger pieces, anyway to get rid of these scratches???
If all these issues can be resolved then I think this would be a nice product, as they are now,...I am not too pleased with their look and I dont think I will be installing them the way they are.

I just got my set today.. they should look good installed. Just a question, can they be polished using some sort of plastic polish? Some of the edges were scuffed where I guess you guys cut/sanded them.

How do you plan to install them?

I'm thinking contact cement or molding adhesive.. I work at an auto parts store so I'm planning on just reading a few labels when I go in tomorrow.. er 6 hours from now, heh... Since they arent perfectly flat, it looks like they might need to be clamped down while the glue sets, so I guess I'm going to just roll down my windows and see what I can do.

OTOH, like you mentioned, I'd definatly like to polish them up a bit first. I know for a fact that nobody will notice the scratches and the dull edges except me, but its going to bother me unless taken care of. Also, since I live in NY, it might be too cold for me to even attempt this, I don't think glue adheres very well below freezing, and I don't have a garage.

Oh and Flavor, were the edges a little bit wavy on your set? On mine I could definatly notice that they weren't perfectly straight. I'm not really complaining because they were cheap, but I was just curious.

Ok, so I went at them with some Meguiars scratch-x and it seemed to have helped the cloudy looking edges incase anyone wanted to know.

Just received mine today. Thanks Jose. They look pretty good. What type of adhesive does anyone recommend to install these without the risk of losing them at high speeds???
