I hope that I am wrong , but I think those fenders are photoshoped(altered, ect>). If you look at the right rear , it is also flared under the door handle, now that would be impressive bodywork ?! I am skeptical

It say"1MAX2RIP". That is photoshoped (enhanced) , or I may be wrong, look at the curve under the right rear door handle ?! I maybe wrong.

Yeah, I noticed the rear door flared, also that the rear lip doesnt connect with the fender flare, which in my opinion is neat because if you ever wanted to switch out your body kit you could do that.

I always thought fender flares would be a good idea. Not because we could fit wider wheels in them, but because they could hide the huge fender gap we have so 17"s would looks like a decent size.

That I agree, to me they look more luxurioius, and at the same time sporty. Well, I have come to the conclusion that this max HAS to be photoshopped. If I nor anyone else has seen this by now, and on the NissanX Gallery there is no front pic of this car. So unless someone knows something about it, my hopes are way to high as it is...

that maxima is not photoshopped, it was flared and at nopi nationals.

and the flares mentioned on ebay are from team prototype and are not direct bolt on.. they take quite a bit of work.

Like I said, I maybe wrong and here you are to prove it . I am sorry to give misleading info, or to elude anyone's dreams.

From just looking that one picture, it looks like some good body work.

That max doesn't look good. The sqareish flares don't compliment the rounded stillen kit.

Yeah, I honestly don't like the look of that car.. at the very most I would have a body shop roll your fenders if you want a wider look... only problem is that you would probably want to totally slam your car or else the gap would just look huge

it looks chubby... reminds me of m3 body kits, they really square up the front and fenders

the term "rolling" fenders simply means to pinch in the fender lip on the inside of the fender and create more space for the wheel.

imho there are too many people on this board so contented with getting in line and doing 99% of the same mods that everyone else does. it is nice to see some people stand out.. if you wonder why you don't see more crazy custom stuff on this board, it's not because there aren't cars with it out there, it's probably because all the lemmings would start flaming and persecuting people with different taste.

tsw revo's aren't the greatest wheels around.. but something with a lip would be nice, those wheels you can tell are just spaced out.

thanks for the comments on my car.

and driver824, you are right.. who wants to pull up and see a bunch of cars looking like your own??

It's not for the Maxima, trust me. They're universal 4 dr. fender flares and the only thing they'll fit without mods is the IS300 because that's what they're based on. I have the same thing, made by team prototype and it's been a long time sanding, grinding, and fiberglassing. The ones sold on eBay are knockoffs of the Team Prototype ones which are already knockoffs of the original Japanese kits for the IS. I should be done with everything by February, so I will hopefully have pics then of the flares which have been reworked over so much they don't even resemble the original pieces I got, and all the other work being done.
