y-pipe question

Yo, I'm planning on buying a budget y-pipe in the next two weeks (depends on if I will have to borrow money to my friend), I want to know what's the best way to get it. Contact Budget at Canada or something?

Oh yeah some dude on xnissan.com forum, said that 2000 VQs come with variable intakes. Is that true? If yes y don't we install them on our cars?

It would be a PITA to put the 2000 Variable Intake into 4th Gens...especially when we have the MEVI. As far as Budget...call their number (find it on the website, I'm going to bed)

well with a 2000 variable intake what's exactly the problem with instaling? Since you can get a complete motor for $500 if you get lucky I figured that intake would be maximum $200, can anybody tell me about the issues?

Not the same thing dummy. ABK the 2ks have variable intakes but the 4th gen firewall and hood won't clear the manifold. To get a y-pipe the only way is to use their 1-800#...

Just get a MEVI if you want a variable intake manifold. It is not a true short/long runner setup like the 2k+ Maximas but it does the job.
