I hear that a 3-3.5 cubic foot ported box is needed to get the optimum sound out of the 12" kicker solo baric l7 sub. I'm a complete newbie when it comes to audio, so I definitely wouldn't be able to build one correctly myself. I was just wondering if there was any boxes that i could buy online to suit my needs or from any stores. I am trying to use 1 12" btw not two.

Looks like a good deal, i'm just always sketchy about buying on ebay. That box should give me pretty good sound though right?

 

yup slot ports are great they have a slightly different frequency curve than regular ports and it should sound VERY nice with this box.

 

Slot ports are the best for the solo's. If you go ported, anywhere from 2-3cf will work great. I know of a guy in jersey that hit 148db with one solo 8. I can't wait to get mine installed.
