i challenged my dad and my uncle to some races. my dad drives a tahoe and my uncle drives a impala with a L T 1 engine. i raced my dad's tahoe first. my cousin flagged us and we was off, i jumped him by half a car and pulled 2 cars ahead so i shut it down at 90. then i raced my uncle. i knew i was going to get an a$$ whooping but oh well. my cousin flagged us again and we was off, i jumped my uncle by 1/4 a car but when we hit 40, he started to pull on me. he shut it down at 110 and by then he was already 4 cars ahead of me. i ate some humble pie on that race but i am still proud of my max.

The sad thing is that a new GMC Sierra C3 will kick your ***. 0-60 in 7.3 seconds. Funny, I remember when you could kill anything with 4 wheel drive and now we can't even beat a factory, fully functional pickup truck.

The Impala SS is a quick car and was something I seriously considered when I got rid of my 94 Z28 (pretty much the same LT1 except the Impala SS had iron heads a 9.5:1 CR, 260hp). Stock, they can pull off lower 15s. With the typical mods like headers, catback, intake, chip, and gears, they can get deep into the 14s which is very much like the 5 speed G4 and G5 Maxima.


As for the rape comments, you best keep your mouths shut. Two people very close to me were raped. It is extremely disturbing how much it can break a person down. Neither of them are "messed up", but they've got to live with the fact that it happened to them. Both are extremely strong mentally and have accepted what happened, talked about it, and realized it wasn't their fault. For your sake, don't ever say those "funny" rape comments around me. You dip****s have no IDEA what it does to a person. When you say the "funny" comments, insert "your mom, girlfriend, wife" into the sentence and then tell me how funny it sounds.

but i really did hear that on several different occations. once my economics prof actually said that in a small group discussion(not the big lecture hall speech) as a joke, supposely the moral behind it is that one should learn to adapt the situation, and turn a losing senario into a winning one.
i really didn't think it was a big deal, but heck people have the rights to interpret how they want i suppose.

now back to subject at hand...yes my dad is cool, he doesn't race alot but he does go off roading. its more of a weekend warrior kind of thing. fishing and hauling the pontoon (i don't know how to spell it). its a great off roader but he still managed it to get stuck somehow, mud halfway up to the door and that where the wench comes in handy. i knew my uncle's impala was fast but you really don't know until he pulls 4 cars on you (haha). its all stock too but one thing i dont understand is, how come on side of the car (on the end), it says caprice ss when its a impala? also anybody know the stock 1/4 mile time on them? my uncle hasn't gone to track with it yet.
