Front Struts Groan/creak low speed turns

At low speed turns, like in parking lots, I get creaking and groaning from both my struts. Almost sounds like it's in need of lubrication, but I remember reading where people had the dealer replace the struts.

I believe there is a TSB somewhere for this, or a thread that I read where others have had the same problem. I can't find the thread or the TSB. Any help is appreciated.

I have to go to the dealer for another problem with my car having to turn over about 20 times before it starts, so I want to take care of the struts too.

Thanks

I had my left front strut replaced recently. It was making nosie when I made right turns and hit some irregular surfaces. I was thinking that it was the CV joint because it sometimes sounded like a clicking sound. It turned out that the piston rod was hitting against something near the top. The tech showed the old strut to me and it looked like the rod had been flopping around. It was marked up with rubber marks and a few shiny spots. The tech used an electronic ear attached to the strut mounting nut to listen for noises.
