what's going on w/ my tach needle?

only when cold it's jumpy as hell!..... jumpier than a scared cat! what could it be? really wierd it happened a couple times already but it doesn't do it everyday.

I don't know the reason, but that same thing happens to me too. I think that the tranny fluid needs to warm up. That's why the rpm's run a little high, say around 50 mph (about 3,000 rpm). After the car warms up, does the needle or tranny still do that?

Nope it seems to be fine after warming up, only it seems to take awhile to warm up. it has not done it in a little while though, but it'll probably do it tommorrow since i said that,lol.

I had the same prob.....

not really sure what it is, I'll check my repair manual maybe there is some info in there about this....
