How do you all do that, I dont want to take anything off the grill except the black honeycomb style grill, I want to replace it with mesh grill, BUT I want to see some home made ones, and a pic of the TRENZ grill on the top and the valencces. I have a 95.

is it hard to do it though? I mean to cut the the grill and how did you put the mesh grill in? how did it look in home depot(silver)? I want to do it but need instructions if it isn't too hard?

grill out of homedepot is a fencing silver/grey color. tha looks ugly so i painted it black. use truck bed paint cause it has high scratch tolerance.

yes, all i did was cut out the honeycomb black part with a dremel ont he stock grill.. i left he painted grill borders that the 95-96 has.. i actually like this look beter than the 97-99. i dont like how the 97-99 grill touches with the headlamps.

it was easy to put the homedepot on the painted borders. when u cut the homedepot grill, cut about an extra inch or 2 on all the sides.(use the part u dremeled out as an outline) then fold the steel mesh grill along the curves of the borders. i used this tar like black plumbing glue to get it to stick.. im sure a glue gun/resin/good quality double sided tape would work too. make it messy if you want cause all the glueing is behind hte borders. and no one will see. have fun.. sorry no writeup with pics.. PM me if you have quetions.

outdoors/gardening. its in a roll. they have fine mesh, medium mesh and largemesh. make sure its steel mesh. the plastic ones wont hold up the wind resistance. i used medium mesh.

dont use the mesh on a roll!! use Gutter Guard, it comes in 6"x3' (i think) a pack of 5 (again i think) is about $6.....well i dont rember but its cheap. I didnt cut the original grill, i laid the new grill over the old one and zip tied it.. I painted the mesh with silver paint too.

Maybe i can find my write up i did.

that looks cool.. but i stll like mine better. :P looks meaner when the grill sits deeper inside the grill borders.. try painting a black one and making a grill your way.. id like to see how that looks.. i thikn the silver stands out a little to much IMO.. but sweet job and it looks clean.

i got the stuff from grille-tech for both the grill and the bumper holes... kinda expensive ($90 for all three) but instalation takes about 10 minutes and it looks good... and you don't have to cut out the honeycomb in the stock grill.

Is it possible to put on the mesh without taking the bumber off? Like getting under the car some how.

I don't know if it is possible without taking the bumper off cause never tried to put one on. But my bumper is off anyway so will go to homedepot and make my grills black. where did you get the paint from Max Noob? And did you clear coat it?

Making your own grill is cheaper and to cut the honeycomb grill is the best way cause if you put inserts on the grill itself, you will still see nissan emblem.

Or if you need another option you can buy the grill I'm selling. Stillen SMX grill. You can look at it on my homepage or on Stillen's website.

how do you put on the bumper mesh grill on from the inside? it looks like it can only be put on from the front because of the plastic pices in the bumper.
