whats the model of yellow optima battery for our car?

whats the model of yellow optima battery for our car?

I went to pepboys yesterday to get the yellow optima battery but they have no clue what size for my car. All they said i need size 35, but i dun think they make size 35 for opitma. Well, i just wana know the model so i dun have to get the wrong model and going back to exchange. thanks

There's another post on the forum about this. Yellow and green are deep-cycle batteries. Only get these if you run more than 2 amps with the car off. Red is the battery that is meant for normal use.

Well, i need it for my car stereo. Since its draining a lot of power.

there's an Optima website that someone posted, i think it can help you with the size but they also said that you need the plastic container that it's stored on or else the battery is too short.

i have the blue top and its smaller than the OEM.....but all i did was 2 make a small platform out of wood and 2 guard rails and it fit perfect with the OEM battery tie down bars

thanks guy, i bought one today and its a lil bigger then the oem, but shorter tho. I had to use a piece of wood inorder to tie the battery. Its all good, my light stop dimming. So its a good thing.

Glad to hear it helped..I got cheap and bought a 2nd battery (Everstart Maxx Marine) and put it in the trunk and wired them together to get rid of my dimming..its in a sealed box with a hydrogen vent to the outside since I've sealed my trunk pretty thoroughly
