what 300zx brake master cylinder to use??

what 300zx brake master cylinder to use??

Can anyone tell me what year of 300zx brake cylinder to use??
i found one from '90 but i'm not to sure if that is the right one????
it has 4 openings and in good shape......so can someone plz help me out

i'm plannin' on upgradin' the front rotors and since i found a great deal on 300z rotors and calipers well i just wanted 2 know if i had 2 upgrde the master cylinder 2.........i read somewhere here that if u upgrade the rotors in all....u have 2 do the master cylinder 2.....or not really????

Hmmm.... I don't believe so as none of the BBKs come with or mention anything about changing the master.

ok intern.......i'm just lookin' thru all the post in the 3rd gen forums.......damn way 2 many 2 read...but i remember a 3rd gen sayin' they r goin' 2 change the MC from a 300z to their 3rd gen with the BBK......

it won't fit unless you feel like bending new brake lines.

There's no point in changing the MC.. the 3rd gen one is more than big enough to handle it. I'm using some pretty big calipers up front (way bigger than the Z32 calipers), and haven't had a problem at all with pedal travel or clamping force.

hey man,
as everyone has already said, you don't need the mc from a 300zx.
if you want help for the install with those brakes give dave a call. there'll be a few things that need to customize(rip out) to get the calipers to fit.
he has the z32 rotors and calipers already on his ride. it looks very nice behind 18" bsa wheels!
and the stopping power is incredible...
