I saw 20"'s on a 91 MAXIMA

No joke, I went for a cruise and I spotted a maroon 89,90 or 91 max w/N.Carolina plates at a gas station. I saw the 20" wheels and was like NAAH. So I stopped my car and went to his window and asked him what size were his tires and he said...DUBS. I said "I knew it!"! I asked him if he had any trouble with rubbing or anything and he said no, he said he drove from N.Carolina with no problems. Anyway excuse my language but the sh#t was sweet. He had very little tire on them like the lowest profile tire I've ever seen. Its possible.

Anything is possible.
But the question remains:
Why?

We saw someone on here who did that and had major problems with it rubbing. Spacers this that etc. Then when he finally got them on it looked unproportional... I guess it depends on the rim but i mean after its all over it kinda looks weird if you have your rim half the height of your car.

You would've liked it trust me...you just had to see it. The only thing is I wonder about the tires cause they looked to be only about 1.5 inches from the rim.

Shoulda raced him. Those 50lbs rims probably puts that VG into the high 10 sec range. (0-60 that is)

wish I had had a camera with me. but coming home from work yesterday I passed a old 80's style caprice that was raised off the ground, the bottom of the car was at my windows, and the wheels were masive, huge cromed out spinners with tiny profile tires, im thinking possible the massive version they like to put on the escalades and such.....god that was aweful

We are talking VGs here. "Street racing" to them is like a normal grandma driving a VE.

QUOTE]

No way man, you got it wrong

its gangsta terms, 2 = double, therefor one more 2 is a notha double, so that equals double dubs. No one rolls on 40's. Cept for maybe Calebs dad on his combine.

Nah... you don't wanna burn out your retinas with all the blingin' goin on in Juan's trunk...

And hold on a minute... did I just hear someone mention the "mean streets of Iowa"??

I was rollin' thru Newton, Iowa one year in my Max and got jacked by a trio of John Deere hat-wearing kids riding in a '79 International Harvester rollin' on dubs! Most embarrassing moment in my life... because I couldn't understand a word they were saying!

this migh be a bit off subject, but i just seen a Ford Festiva with 13 inch gold rims, 100 spoke or better with like 8 inch spacers. WTF? I might be speculating, but isnt the ford festiva the biggest piece of shlt car you could ever own. No matter how much $$$ you dump into it, its still a big pile of shlt. Id at least sell the rims and trade it in for an escort wagon or somthin. Now them bichtes are bad. I used to have me one, 14 inch 5 spoke chrom poverty caps. check it out

ummmm ok, when you go to pop the trunk from the drivers seat, is it a button on the door panel, or a lever on the floor?
you've got VG gauges and VG tails, but an air bag.
sooo confused.
