NGK wires dont fight tight enough :(

About my recent post of my car not wanting to accelerate enough after it warms up...

i was looking at the spark plug wires and after the engine was warm, i could lift the plug wire off the plug with one finger under the wire!! infact it felt like it was already off the plug

these are only a month old new NGK wires (blue color)

but when the car is cold, the wire boot sits tight enough to need force to pull...is there a way that i could tighten up the plug boot to sit tight on the plug even after car warms up?

I have had them on there for about 3 years!! They fit real tight and are the blue ones like yours. Maybe I should change them. You can try the copper wires, they provide a better spark but dont last as long as the NGKs.

don't or do not

Have you tried closing the terminal a little bit? I wouldn't be worried so much about the boot fitting tight, but try to feel for the terminal poping on and off of the end of the spark plug.

Maybe I should just make some custom MSD wires for the VG guys?

Try squeezing the terminal just a tad to get good connection. Then try lubing the inside of the boot with dielectrical grease to create an airtightish fit? Might help.

What plugs are you running? Maybe they aren't the correct shape/size for the boot.
