Factory remote starter, trunk opener stop working

The factory remote starter and trunk opener stoped working along with the flashing lights that act when arming & disarming, and remote starting. the doors still unlocks & locks and still chirps. It still does the multi chirp when trying to remote start. Any info would help, thankx

ummm..... remote start / remote keyless entry were not factory options on these cars.
so you've got to look and see whose unit was installed. and go from there.
chances are a fuse blew in the feed line

yeah check the fuses they will be under the dash right by the briand of the unit

also if there is a hood pin or nutral safty switch make sure they are both functioning or the remote starter will not work

definitly not a stock factory option take a peek under the dash and see whose unit is up in there, check power lines and fuses.

check relays as well (BTW, many aftermarket alarms have build-in relays in a brain unit) - they might be gone. both, trunk opener and remote start requires those (sound confirmation is just a separate output - that's why it still works).
just a thought.

Does anyone know any model car that has a remote start option from the factory?

95% chance blown fuse
There's 2 feeding the unit.
But, nube has more technical expertise on them than I do

The three fuses you're talking about feed the 2 12v wires for the system, with the third being the parking light feed. There's a small chance that your brain may have given up the ghost. The curious thing, is that the trunk pop stopped working as well. But subs1000w hit on what I would've suggested checking. If it was hooked up correctly, do this: open up the hood, go over to the passenger side wheel, hold down the hood pin switch (or whatever hood pin switch they may have connected to the system), then attempt to start the car with the remote. I would even go so far as to completely disconnect the wire itself (which should be grey, depending on the model), just to eliminate that trigger altogether.

The trick here, is to see if the pin switch may be faulty (which kinda sounds like the problem you're having - except for the trunk pop thing). Now IF the car starts after disconnecting/eliminating the hood trigger, then that pin is the problem, and needs to either be replaced or put to a more solid ground.

As for the trunk thing (and this again depends on the model), check the tan wire to see if it responds if you press the trunk button on the remote. Also, make sure your trunk button itself (the one in the car) is working and it's fuse isn't blown.

yea i would say it sounds like pins switches, also make sure the fues for the trunk is working also. another thing is make sure the wires leading to the trunk lead and the doors are not loose if so make sure to secure them. I had a friend who's alarm was acting funky a DEI viper. The power locks wouldnt lock or unlock, or the parkinglights wouldnt blink. Come to find out the original owner did a crap job on the alarm just needed to fasten the parking light leads from the brain to the cars wirer harness, along with the powerlocks lead from the brain to the cars harness. make sure to check that
