my tag is up on february, now they just started doin the whole emmission deal down here, so i dont think its been kept up. I know that cleaning the egr helps, what else can i do. im gonna go under the car tommorrow when i get home from skool and check my exhaust.

tune up, pcv/egr valve, "g2p" guarranted to pass fuel additive.

 

make drive it on the highway abit then go to the place. make sure its up to normal operating temp.

 

Check what the requirements are to have the test waived.
Or at what dollar amount they consider enough done to give you a waiver.
I know that up here it's like $400 + some improvement to get waived but that's only after the third try.
So I usually recommend testing the car with no repair first especially if you expect to fail.

 

yep i expect to fail, i was just gonna take it this week to get it done, then it gives me time before the tag is up. then ill see what it does before and after the egr is cleaned

 

CD2.....my dad used that on his 1984 Bmw 635csi with a burned CATlyct (sory for spelling) and passed......

 

wheres that available at? im pretty sure my cat is dead coz it smells like gas real bad when i start the car
