Springs replacement

How often do the springs on my car need to be replaced if hey have to be replaced at all? I've had the H&R/KYB setup for 2 years now and I'm about to change the struts to Tokico Illumina. I love the H&R's but was wondering if the springs should be replaced with new ones as well?

Never. They should be fine.

Well I'm about to do another strut change. Has anyone ever needed to change aftermarket springs for wear and tear reasons?

Springs should be fine. Struts usually go, the only reason to change springs is if they breaking or so........

I just bought me a set and was installing them until I found out that some of the OEM parts were required for the install. I attempted to assemble them but ran into a few problems. The bottom bolt holes on the Basics were a bit small and the knuckle has holes too big for the size of the Basics. Does this mean that I have to drill the Basics out some more? Also, The spring seat that came with the Basics and the OEM bearing didn't match up and the fit was not snug. There is about a quarter inch gap from the inside of the bearing to the outside of the spring seat. Anyone run into this problem? Oh, aside from that, gotta replace the insulator so I'm waiting for that to come in. Any news will help, Thanks!

i would double check the part numbers to see if you got the correct ones. you shouldn't be having any of those issues.

A32 suspension

Anyone have the bolt diameter off of an A32 suspension mount (knuckle) and the strut mount bearing inner diameter?
I have 38.1 mm for the inner diameter of the bearing. Can any vouge for this and also provide the bold size of the lower mounts. Thanks.
