carbon fiber vs poly-urethane

carbon fiber vs poly-urethane

hey guys i'm interested in purchasing a body kit but i've seen the carbon fiber body kit from http://www.ionicdynamics.com/ and the poly-urethance from stillen.com ...but my question is which is better the carbon fiber or the poly-urethane? fixing it wise?...which is stornger and which is more durable in the long run...can i get some feedback please?????????????????????=D

If you screw up the carbon fibre, it's over. I'd say go with the poly if your concerned about durability and repairability.

You will have to look in yourself for this one, JOMAN. The way you drive will tell you which one to get. If you drive like a granny get the CF but if you drive speedemon get the stillen. Durability or Show? You decide.

next thing you know..the maxima will have every part available in carbon fiber..lol

Umm ionno what you guys are talking about, my freind and his 11 sec Eclipse has a CF hood, its almost indistructable, His company proved it when they ran over like 30 hoods with a big @$$ truck right in front of me and a bunch of lame ricers. But anyways, I say you geta cf hood with a factory latch, and paint it to match your car, so no one knows the truth hehehe

He's talking about a front lip, not a hood. But to stay on topic, get a c/f one. If something happens to it, fix it then get it painted
