Question for people who enter in Import Drag Events

For the past couple years my local track has put on Import/Sport Compact events 4 times per year. The classes have been set up like this each year:

Street 4 All-Motor
Street 4 F/I
Street 6/Rotary All-Motor
Street 6/Rotary F/I
Comp All-Motor
Comp F/I

This has worked out good and has been a lot of fun. Classes are pretty competitive. Well, the last race of '03 they decided that the 4's could run in the 6/Rotary class if they wanted to. They did this with the thinking that they have 2 less cylinders so the 6's shouldn't care because the 4's have a disadvantage. This meant we had to run old/new Civic hatches with B16/B18/H22 swaps. Well, needless to say, they came into to our class and won. So now we are trying to convince the owners to seperate the classes again.

So, I guess my question is (after that lengthy background): How does everyone elses track run their classes? Are the classes split by engine or only split between Street and Comp?
