ok when i get my 370 injectors.

can someone tell me:
what my base fuel pressure i sould run it at?
what fuel disk do i use?

the injector sare sitting at my work right ow and i need to pay for them and install.

i just took my max and dynoed today and i got some great/but at the same time scary results.

dyno story here.

I take it you are going to run the 370's with the stock maf sensor and ecu. You'll want a base fuel pressure of about 26-27 psi. I'm not sure what fmu disk size people are using, probably something like a 3:1. Ask ejj, he has done this.

Yeah, I've got a 3:1 disc in there.

I suppose the best way is to have your ecu programmed by JWT for the injectors, but that takes $600 and 7-10 weeks.

Other than that, the only thing you can do is adjust the base fuel pressure downward, use the 3:1 fmu for coarse afr adjustment, and an SAFC along with dyno-tuning for fine adjustment. You might be able to get away without the SAFC if you use an adjustable fmu, like the Cartech unit or the Vortech Super-fmu. But having the SAFC is good for other things, too, like checking TPS voltage or maf voltage.

Unless something's changed, JWT still doesn't offer ECU's for us 99 owners.

I keep forgetting that. But isn't it true that the 95-96 ecu will work in the later 4th gen Maximas? Or is 99 different enough to where it won't?

I'm not sure.

I would guess it would screw with the odometers, are ours (98 + 99) store their information in the ECU itself.

I also think that the pinouts are different (although I'm not 100% sure about that). If that's the case we'd need an adapter, which wouldn't be impossiable.

I should try to find a 95 or 96 ECU and put it in my car and see what happens.

Yeah? I guess that info isn't stored in the ECU. Cool.
