Will 92-94 tails fit on a 89-91 Max?

Will 92-94 tails fit on a 89-91 Max?

I know they are form the same generation, but I was looking and noticed the tail light style is a little different and i was wondering if tails from a 94 maxima will fit on an 89 maxima.

Will this Fit:

yep, but those are GXE tails. the only difference is the chrome.

He has a GXE though, the difference being where the reflector ends. I'm almost sure they do fit, since the maxima plastic plate is the same size.

oops, I forgot that the SE's are also smoked abit. Above I mean't the only difference between the 92-94 GXE/SE is the chrome, and well now the smoked part. It's been a while since its been talked about and I forgot about it, lol.

they bolt up fine but you need the bulb housings from the 92-94 tailights too. the housings that are in your 89-91 maxima tailights are shaped differently and wont line up to the back of the lights properly.

yep, right on. I swapped the tails from my '93 SE parts car to my '89 GXE. Bulb housings plug right into the harness too.

They will fit. BTW use the 93 SE tails. They look the best!

There's a difference between the 92's and 94's when compared to the 93's? I thought all VE tails were the same.
