FSM Question

Do Nissan dealerships still sell the FSM for 3rd gens?
I've been to a couple in my area and they tell me that it can't be ordered.
WTF?
Doesn't it make sense that people need the FSM's for older cars?
Haynes and Chiltons manuals just aren't cutting it anymore.

I got the same reply from dealership when I was looking for FSM. Finally I got mine from the Ebay.
Btw it's kinda funny but yesterday I realized that in Haynes there is some info that is not in FSM. I was looking for alternator description and found just very short description in FSM versus better one in Haynes.

If you need something from FSM let me know as far as we gonna meet this weekend.

I got mine for free when I was getting a fender in the junkyard, the car was just towed in and it had the FSM and a set of larger spark plug wires, which I could auctually tell a little diffrence with throttle response, anyway I just told the junkyard guys that I brought the FSM in and then got it for free, they also gave me the wires for free, so good deal all around.

On the outside it seems like a lied, but don't junkyards do the same thing? 75$ for a not so perfect fender? I think not, i wish straight Max body panels wern't so rare around here.

I got mine used at www.goodwillbooks.com Pure luck that they had one. $30 U.S. and it was in good shape, too. Currently, there's a new one for $89 U.S. at www.books4cars.com

I was on the phone with Nissan Publications or something a few days ago and they told me, that FSM for 93 Max goes for US$89 and $50 for the wiring diagrams. Shipping to Canada is free.
You can get a phone number for them from Nissan itself - sorry I did not keep it, can't spend that much right now on a book.
