When we say boosted are we talking SC or Turbo or Nitrous.

Sorry for such a short post, I was dead tired last night after getting the finishing touches done. The pics can be found here: http://pimpjuice.s5.com/turbo.html. I will move them to my ad-free website when my servers are up and running again.

The turbo is a Turbonetics TO4E/60-1 Hi-Fi Stage 5 ball bearing.

Damn, that's gotta have some sick power! What kind of boost, and how much hp/tq? I wonder if the 3.5L w/turbo can break into 12's? Congrats

Pimp, my question coming from a turbomax owner myself is what did you do for fuel? Being it being a fuel returnless line, did you put larger injectors in and control it with like an eManage?

I have a Tial 38mm Wastegate set at 5.8 psi for now. I will try to get dyno numbers as soon as possible.

I will be ordering the e-manage and 440cc injectors from RC (same as they use for the greddy tt kit for the Z). For know I am just running the walbro (in-line) and aem fpr, the same setup shown on hlh's website. I might eventually add a return line, but we'll see. Fuel is the hardest part to tweak with since there is no return fuel line. I will keep you updated on how it's going.

Thanks for all the compliments and replies. I will try to get a dyno done as soon as possible. The car pulls so much harder know (works out my neck). I am glad that the turbo and tubing add weight to the front because when its at full boost the tires have trouble keeping traction. I love the way the turbo whines too.

Yes, I believe I am the first 5.5+ gen to have a turbo.

Check out my injector thread in the 5th Gen forum. The 350z and the vqde-k use the same injector that is the 2k/2k1 Maxs use the EXACT SAME injectors as the 350z. So I dont think you can use the 350 RC injectors unless you get a custom fuel rail.

RC makes a 440cc injector for the 350Z (intended for the greddy tt kit). So I called RC and asked them if it would work on a maxima. They told me that the injectors will work on a maxima and no modification was needed. I might just have to order them and try them out. Hopefully they will work out. I just don't see why nissan would make things the same between the 350z and the 2k/2k1 but not the 2k2 maxima.

Pimp, this was dicussed a few times already. The 2k2-2k3 have a different injector compared to the 350z even though its the same engine. You are in a worse of situation because I dont think anyone makes a compatible 2k2-2k3 maxima injector at the moment.

proboly the only choice he has then is uping the fuel pressure via fmu or aditional injectors in the charge pipe and control them via emange

I might be able to do the injector in the charge pipe but a fmu won't work because I don't have a return fuel line. I'll have to figure something out.

Thanks for the help guys

Does the 2003 Altima share the same the same fuel injectors. If so you might want to contact SSR Engineering and see what type of upgraded injectors they used for their turbo on the 3.5 Altima.

Get an Aeromotive EFMU, http://216.242.145.16/products/product.phtml?p=32
You use it with an inline fuel pump. Basiclly, the EFMU senses boost, and based on the boost, it sends voltage out to the inline pump, and then it raises fuel pressure based on the voltage. Real easy to install and tune. I run it on my 350Z and using stock injectors. I put down 390 at the wheels with this rich, and am going to fine tune with an SAFC or E-manage.

The 2K2 and 2K1(350Z) injectors are VERY similar, so they may also work.

They only differ by one number, but *APPEAR* the same. He should definitely try them.

MSD and guys who make the Blowzilla for the Cobras also use something similar.

I think it should work with the returnless system.
