I'm looking for any information regarding the Valve Body modification and installation.

I've got the valve body that i purchased from Jeff at Maximum Tuning in my garage and i was looking to install tonight.

I picked up a new gasket kit w/filter for the tranny pan.

Just looking for as much info on the install as i can get.

Would someone please do a search for me or give me any links?

I've checked out the vqdriver site but that write just doesn't say enough.

Did you get the stage 2? Let us know how their new design works out.

 

I've got the stage 2 VB, and damn i like it.

Put it in with no problems and it works great.

Feels like the front end of the car wants to pull away from the frame. You gotta get it.

 

how much did you buy it for? and why did you get it if you dont mind me asking......are you using force induction? or is your tranny giving out on you? dont forget to get a tranny cooler, very important

i paid $350 and i've got the hayden 403 trans cooler.

Got it cause it felt like the car was hanging in gear to long, like it didn't want to shift. So

is that 350 shipped or w/o shipping cost? and is there anything you need to send to them? i heard something about a core???

 

I'm putting my VB in this coming week, I'm ready for the whole deal, but I have heard about replacing the solenoids above the VB. I went by Nissan today and they said they were $475. I figure I'll wait on the solenoids. How long did it take to install VB?

 

About 5 hours taking our time...
didn't replace the solenoids either...
the price is $350 shipped with a $200 core deposit. so $550 until you send the VB that you take out of your car back to them. Or send them your core if you can afford the down time.
