**** is boss!

How bright do the turn signals and reverse lights look through the smoked clears? Pics of that? In MrEous's shot with the Dallas skyline, you can see two reddish spots in the signals. Is that just the bulbs reflecting light or are they on?

I have red Polarg bulbs in my rear turn signals that almost match the tail light color.

Thanks for the pics guys, but I was wondering if you had the clear plastic piece still in there or not. The DTM mod says to remove the turn signal piece and the reverse light piece. I can't really tell from the pictures, if you had red/clears, did you just paint the inside of the housing and put the clear piece back in?

I have DTM also, I just wanted to see what that would look like since I don't have red/clears.

Below the pic I added that my hazards are on (since I was on the bridge)...the camera caught the lights while they were on.

(I got the bulbs off of eBay for about $5shipped.)

The tails become diamond red/clears when you are done with the process. The inside of the tail is kinda ugly, and painting it makes a huge difference. The paint is simple flat black paint you can buy at Autozone. I think that's where I bought mine. Check the write up.

edit: yes, you just take the stock orange (on the signal) and clear (reverse) part out and paint the inside of the housing. we painted these outside to avoid fumes and painting the inside of my house. haha

Did you have any problems with them fading and turning orange or pink?

when you paint the orange lense, you can't tell it's orange. doing red/clears would be more money for the same result. my outer (orange) lense matches my inner (clear) lense.

Huh? Paint the orange lense? Why would you do that? With DTM you simply pull that part out and throw it away. It's not used in the DTM.

I'd be curious to see a pic of a set of tails with the clear and orange part painted...
