Interesting Dyno chart gotten from my tuning shop

Comparing near stock (had ghetto CAI + Stillen Muffler + Stillen B pipe)
With the addition of Stillen Y pipe
With the addition of UDP + Hi Flow cat

Interesting. I didn't think heat soak really mattered that much on a dyno as long as a fan was running. I usually ran my modded programs after a stock ECU pull - maybe i'll reverse it and see what the chips are really doing.

Id be interested to hear back what you find out especially if you notice a difference... Im not the expert on this stuff to be honest so Im trying to absorb as much as possible

This is a pretty interesting Dyno article though it doesnt speak directly to any of this-
...You probably will get more out of it than me..

On my car, I've seen about a 5hp/tq difference between a scalding hot motor and a mildly warm motor. Looks like the UDP isn't worth much (maybe 1-2hp).

Yeah I saw that one when I had to manually create my SAE vs STD correction factors and learned all about abs vs rel humid etc. Heck, even WHERE the shop places their airtemp sensor can affect results. Then of course you got the +/- 1-3% stuff anyway
