I just picked up my 99 Maxima and I love it.

49K fully loaded 5sp. Gold. I didn't think I would like the gold but Its nice. I got it for 9400.

I never new Maximas drove so nice.

I don't plan to hook it up because I have invested so much into my mustang, but I would like to make it look better. What are the best hyper white lights I can get?

don't get any of them cheap hyper white headlight bulbs...i recommend sylvania coolblue....it's whiter than stock and has good visibility and u can pick them up at wal-mart for like $17 a pair...but if u want something really white go with piaa 9004 xtreme white...

Just get the HID's. Trust me you wont regret it. You won't even think about high beams with the visibility of HIDs its a whole new world. If you worried about using your high beams as a means of communication, just subsitute that with your fog lights or turn on and off you headlights.

I bought a pair of hyper whites off of ebay. I've bought 3 pairs. I liked all of them. The first pair was for my previous car. the second was for my max. Then my max got into a front-end accident. So i had to order another set(that's the 3rd pair).

I don't have any complaints with the hyper whites. I use them with stock fogs and they are good enough for me.
I don't have $300+ to spend on HIDs.

congrats on the 99 max I love my 99 too! welcome to the .org
the only thing wrong with 99's is bad ignition coils i just replaced all 6 of them at 72K since one was really getting bad (engine started to hiccup at red lights)

btw check the Group Deals forum, umnitza is developing bi-xenon HID projectors for about ~$400 since they are bi-xenon you get low and high beams and they're projectors so you won't have the light pattern spread out all over like you would have with a regular hid kit.

also don't get 80/100W headlight bulbs or you will burn out your headlight sockets within a couple of months get 65W ones instead like sylvania silverstars.

No, get the CATZ 9004 HID kit. He can keep his high beams (pseudo).

That's what I have. The solenoid moves the capsule back and forth to toggle the filament position. It works very well.
