hard clutch...why?

hard clutch...why?

asking this for a friend of mine........he wants to know why his clutch is hard to pedal. any help would be appreciated. thanks

What kind of car? What kind of clutch? How old is everything; car, clutch, master/slave cylinders, lines?

lol sorry, i should have been a little more descriptive. ummmm......'95 maxima, oem clutch, the clutch he said is new (according to the seller). he bought the car yesterday, doesnt know how to use the org so i'm helpin him out.

Are you sure it's an OEM clutch? If it's very new, it may need some time to break in.
