I have a big crack thats growing on my windshield. Anyone know the best solution to replace this? Thanks

 

Call a mobile glass company. Expect to pay approx 200-250. If they quote you more, pick another company. They'll come to your house or your job and install it.

 

Well, if your insurance doesn't cover it, call around and find the best price from a glass place. It's probably going to cost lower to mid 200's.

 

If your comprehensive deductible is 100 dollars or less most glass companies will waive the deductable and you wont have to pay a dime (they'll bill your insurance company). Talked to my agent as long as they dont have to replace more than one a year my rates wont be affected. Just got the 2k a new windshield 2 weeks ago doing that.

 

Also, if you have AAA check with them. My son had his replaced on his Sentra last week for $175 with the AAA discount.

 

2 - windshields cracked
1 - sunroof cracked when moving
2 - mobile replacement vehicles replaced them outside my house
0 - $'s spent on both windshields and sunroof
2 - boxes of Black Angus Filet steaks (1 for each replacement)
